Ali Paya

Ali Paya is a contemporary Iranian philosopher and writer. He is a lecturer at Tehran University and a Senior Research Associate and Visiting Professor at the Center for Study of Democracy, University of Westminster.

He's written a number of books, including Dialogue in a Real World (2002), Analytic Philosophy: Problems and Prospects (2003), and Models of Explanation (2003). His writings have also been included, along with others, in such works as Muslim Identity in the Twenty First Century: The Challenges of Modernity (2000), Exploring Civil Society: Political and Cultural Contexts (2003), and Islam and Political Order: Muslim Reflections on Democracy, Secularism and Law (2003).
