Ali Khalif Galeyr

Ali Khalif Galayr is a former Prime Minister under the Transitional National Government (TNG) of Somalia from October 8, 2000 to October 28, 2001.[1] He is originally from Sool region. In the 1980s he married Habiba Isaaq, a Marehan woman, and became the Minister of Industry under Siad Barre. He fled to the United States in 1983 after allegedly accepting kickbacks and embezzling up to $80 million of public funds.[2]
