Ali Güneş

Ali Mehmet Güneş (born 23 November 1978 in Donaueschingen) is a German-born Turkish footballer. He plays in the defense position and currently plays for Beşiktaş J.K..

Güneş started his career in Germany for SC Freiburg, where he quickly became a fan-favourite. He was then signed on by Turkish Giants Fenerbahçe SK and stayed there between 2000 and 2004. The strong defender was then signed on by rivals Beşiktaş J.K..

Güneş has one cap for Turkey.
