Scouts Musulmans Algériens (SMA, Arabic: الكشافة الاسلامية الجزائرية‎, English: Algerian Muslim Scouts) is the national Scouting association in Algeria. Scouting in Algeria began formatively around 1911, but Scouting was officially founded in French Algeria in 1935, introduced by French Scouts, and became a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement in 1963. SMA has 10,980 members as of 2001).

Members are actively involved in national construction and community development projects. They have constructed schools, improved roads, planted trees and conducted literacy campaigns.

Although Algeria does have a Guiding organization, work towards World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts membership recognition remains unclear.

The Scout Motto is "Kun Musta'idan" or كن مستعدين, translating as "Be Prepared" in Arabic. The noun for a single Scout is Scout in French, and Kashaf or el-Kechaf or كشاف in Arabic.
