Kindly cite reasons why you need to delete the images. These have been given permission from the Philippine Senate with prior consultations with the Intellectual Proprety Office. Exec8 15:52, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
- Unfortunatelly, permission to use an image on Wikipedia's website is not enough. According to Wikipedia's policies, Wikipedia's content should be reusable by third parties, and "Wikipedia-only" licensed material is rejected. --Abu Badali 15:56, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
- Several media outlets are using the same image to describe the person. Media outlets like TV news programs are considered as "third-party". These images are open to the public for any purpose. ---Exec8 16:08, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
- Even if it's legal to use this image on Wikipedia, our policy forbid us to do so. We should be producing free content instead of reusing copyrighted one. --Abu Badali 16:38, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
- After a short talk to officials of the IPO Office in the Philippines and the Philippines' National Computer Center (who handles .gov.ph websites), they instructed parties to mark photographs of .gov.ph websites as "public domain" as it is an official work of the Philippine government.
