Alfredo Rocco

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Alfredo Rocco (1875-1935) was an Italian politician and jurist.

Rocco was born in Naples. His political career started in the Nationalist Party, though he later joined the Italian Fascist Party once they merged, and served as Italy's Minister of Justice for eight years. Although he was an authoritarian, and despite Italy's relationship with Germany, Rocco was opposed to Nazism.
