Alfred Fabian Gough III (born 22 August 1967 in Leonardtown, Maryland) is an American screenwriter and producer.

He graduated from St. Mary’s Ryken High School in 1985 and The Catholic University of America in 1989. He is a graduate from the USC School of Cinematic Arts under the The Peter Stark Producing Program.

With his writing partner Miles Millar, he wrote the Jackie Chan vehicles Shanghai Noon and Shanghai Knights, and co-wrote Spider-Man 2, Iron Man, and Herbie: Fully Loaded.

He and Millar created Smallville, and is one of the show's executive producers and writers. Gough and Millar also created the Aquaman pilot.
