Alfred Dock

The Alfred Dock is a dock at Birkenhead, United Kingdom. It was built in 1866 and provides access to the Great Float from the River Mersey. Of the two lock entrances, only the north locks remain operational.

Named after Prince Alfred, second son of Queen Victoria.
