[edit] History

Cahill was a mentaly unstable Englishman who had served in the British Army in the early 1970s, but had soon been discharged due to failing his psychological exam. His mental breakdown was the end result of years of abuse from his father.

In 1993, Cahill was eating in a restaurant in Paris while talking to a prostitute named Claudine who was trying to seduce him. He soon begun to beat her, believing she was a sinful woman. She eventually stabbed him in the chest. Cahill run away from the restaurant and staggered through the streets of Paris, finally dying in front of Crusades museum.

Cahill awoke to the face of a statue of an angel. But Cahill did not die alone, as Duncan MacLeod had spotted him when he was running through the streets and had seen him die. Despite MacLeod's attempt to explain him about immortality, Cahill had already believed that he had reborn an avenging angel set out by God to rid the world of sin and left MacLeod.

Cahill then began a killing spree, murdering Claudine and a prostitute client. Duncan began to investigate the murders and realised the next victim would be an Elaine, a prostitute who had been Tessa Noël's college friend, since the man he had murdered was her client. He tried to persuade her to leave her occupation, but her pimp, Battini, interfered. They had an argument which resulted in Battini lying on the floor while Duncan took Elaine to his barge.

In an attempt to kill Elaine at her apartment, Cahill end up meeting and killing Battini. MacLeod confronted him, but instead, turned Cahill's wrath to MacLeod. Alfred soon sought refuge in the museum where he had died. There he waited for MacLeod dressed as a Crusader, who soon found him. Unwilling to accept MacLeod's teachings, Cahill foolishly believed he could not be killed and challenged MacLeod. He soon lost his head.
