Alfonso Pinto

Alfonso Pinto (born 4 October 1978) is a boxer from Italy.

He participated in the 2004 Summer Olympics for his native European country. There he was stopped in the quarterfinals of the Light flyweight (48 kg) division by Turkey's eventual runner-up Atagün Yalçınkaya.

Pinto won the silver medal in the same division six months earlier, at the 2004 European Amateur Boxing Championships in Pula. He then managed to repeat this at the 2006 European Amateur Boxing Championships.
