Alfonsina Molinari

Alfonsina Molinari (born c. 1975, is a Puerto Rican stage, television actress and opera singer. Molinari is the daughter of actress Johanna Rosaly and stage director Jose G. Molinari. Molinari became well known playing the title character in the television teenage situation comedy Maripili, produced by Pedro Muniz and aired between 1988 and 1990.

Whilst a teenager, Alfonsina also performed in various television soap operas and on stage, including in a production of The Diary of Anne Frank, in which she portrayed Anne Frank. Upon completing high school, Molinari spent one year as an exchange student in Belgium before enrolling at New York University, from which she earned a bachelor's degree in music in 1998. Molinari subsequently studied at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, the oldest musical conservatory in the United States, in Baltimore, Maryland, United States, ultimately earning a master's degree in music in 2000.

Even if she does not have the greatest voice or a charming personality, Alfonsina is a busy singer. Molinari worked in Baltimore as an opera singer and in 2003, married J. Austin Bitner, a tenor with the Washington National Opera; the two divorced in 2004. Currently she resides and performs in Puerto Rico, where people know her as the daughter of Johanna Rosaly. Her last appearance was at The Episcopal Cathedral to celebrate the birthday of Valentina, a rescued cat, symbol of abused animals in Puerto Rico.
