Alfa System is a Japanese game development company that plans, develops and markets game software for consoles and personal computers. Alfa System is based out of Kumamoto City, Kyushu. When founded, the Alfa System focused on development for the PC Engine (TurboGrafx-16), but since SCEI's release of the PlayStation console, they have developed games primarily for Sony systems.
Alfa System has published a number of successful games within Japan, such as Linda Cube, Gunparade March, Ore no Shikabane o Koeteyuke (Over My Dead Body) and Castle Shikigami, but few of their titles have been released in other markets. They have also handled a number of ports and have developed licensed games for other publishers.
