Alfa Romeo 183T is formula one car that made its debut at 1983 Brazilian Grand Prix. Car carried Marlboro livery as its was the main sponsor of the team. Basically the car was updated 182 version with V8 turbo engine fitted.[1] 183T took 18 points from 29 entries, Andrea de Cesaris managed to drive 2nd place two times and also gained one fastest lap at Spa Francorchamps.[2], race that he started from 2nd row and leaded over half way. 183T chassis wasnt anymore designed by Alfa Romeo's Autodelta, chief engineer Gerard Ducarouge from Euroracing was main designer.[3]. Euroracing had been earlier successful in Formula 3 with Alfa Romeo engines. Car had now newly designed flat bottom.
