[edit] Alex Galvin

Alexander Gerard Galvin (April 21, ca. 1988) is a student at QEGS. Born in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. He grew up in Barnsley, but had been educated in Wakefield for most of his early life.

At the age of 17 Alexander, or Alex, began to display talent on the Basketball court. Encouraged by this success Alex began to become involved in an area which had begun, since the start of his studies in 2004, to interest him. Politics. Alex started publishing his new and inivative ideas, drawn from discussion with his mentor and teacher Mr David Binney, in leaflets which he distributed around school with the help of his trusty companion Adam Wigley.

Alex's first paper, Tyranny of the Minority: An Insight Into Teaching Autocracy, caused a scandal in his local area with its deep and meaningful insights into student life and the lack of representation they have even in an area such as their schooling which, as any intelligent person would observe, clearly involves them greatly.
