It seems to me that Alex Wolff is heavily influenced (in dress and his character) by drummer Mike Portnoy. I noticed that the dress was kind of similar and then in the movie Alex went to "rehab" for lemon lime soda.... only Portnoy didn't go to get help for soda.

According to http://www.boysoloist.com/artist.asp?vid=2194 it shows March 28, 1997 for a birthday. I don't know if it's his or not. If it is, he just made 10 yesterday.
