The oil from the Aleurites Fordii nut (from the tung tree) is known as "tung oil" and is used as a penetrating wood finish. The nut from Aleurites Moluccana is used, ground to a pulp, in Indonesian cuisine. It is known as "Kemiri" or "Buah Keras".
