Alexis Ruano Delgado (born August 4, 1985 in Málaga), simply known as Alexis, is a Spanish professional footballer. He plays as a central defender for Getafe CF in La Liga.
Alexis joined Getafe from Málaga CF before the 2006-07 season. He had played for Málaga for three seasons and before that for Málaga CF B. Alexis scored the winning goal for Getafe CF against Real Madrid in a 1-0 win on 14 October 2006 in La Liga.
His recent impressive performances for Getafe have attracted some of the world's biggest clubs including AC Milan, Valencia, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Valencia have won his services and have signed him to a deal that will keep him at the Mestalla until at least 2013, beating off competition from Real Madrid.[1]
