[edit] History
Not much is known about Voshin until the late 1930s except that he was mentored by Immortal Zoran Jancovic.
Around 1938-39, he was the captain of the boat "Sea Witch" in the Soviet Union. As a favor to Duncan MacLeod (for not taking Voshin's head), he agreed to help Duncan smuggle refugees out of the Soviet Union. However, Voshin, betrayed them all by calling the KGB. Duncan was able to escape, but the refugees were executed.
Through the years, Voshin became a drug dealer, living in a new boat, the "Sea Witch 2" in the Seacouver port. When an old girlfriend of Richie Ryan, Nikki, stole money and drugs from Voshin's men, when her boyfriend was killed in a deal gone bad, Richie, who witnessed all, felt obligated to help her and her daughter and took them to Duncan's house. Voshin's men alerted him that Nikki was staying at MacLeod's so he called and challenged Duncan. They fought in the "Sea Witch 2". During the fight, Voshin fell overboard and his head was chopped off by the boat's propeller and Duncan received his Quickening.
