Alexandros (Alex) Margaritis (born September 20, 1984 in Bonn, Germany) is a Greek racing driver. He is currently driving with the 'Easy Rent' AMG-Mercedes team in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) touring car championship. He has dual German and Greek nationality because he was born in Germany to Greek parents.

In 1997, he began his racing career in the Netherlands. He finished second overall in the FSA Cart Championship. In 1999, Margaritis took 4th place in the German Cart Junior Cup and 3 years after that, he participated in the ADAC Formula BMW championship, finishing 14th overall. 2 years later, he finished in 13th place overall in the Formula 3 Euroseries.

Finally in 2005, DTM entrant Mücke Motorsport signed Margaritis to drive a 2004 AMG Mercedes C-Class. Although he did not achieve any points finishes, Persson Motorsport hired him to be the third driver in its 2006 line-up alongside Matthias Lauda and the very experienced Jean Alesi. He was classified 11th in the standings, with a total of 11 points.
