Alexandra Canal (New South Wales)

Alexandra Canal is an urban waterway in southern Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The canal is also known as Sheas Creek.
Alexandra Canal feeds into the Cooks River near the suburb of Tempe and the Kingsford Smith International Airport. It also runs beside the suburbs of Mascot, St Peters and Alexandria.

Alexandra Canal was named after Princess Alexandra, who married Edward, Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII) in 1863. The suburb of Alexandria is also named after Princess Alexandra.
