Alexander Theobald Van Lear

Alexander Theobald Van Lear was an American painter, born at Auburn, New York.
He studied at the Art Students League in New York City and in Holland under George Poggenbeck.
Examples of his landscapes include:

- On the Brandywine (Herron Art Institute, Indianapolis).
