Alexander Moody-Stuart

Alexander Moody-Stuart, name of at least two people:

  • Alexander Moody Stuart (q.v.), (1809 - 1898), minister of the Free Church of Scotland, whose surname appears to have been spelled by himself and family without a hyphen, but often with a hyphen by others.
  • Sir Alexander Moody-Stuart, head of Antigua Sugar Estates in the middle 20th century, against whom Vere Bird led the sugar workers in a general strike in 1951.
