Alexander Gray

Air Vice Marshal Alexander Gray CB, MC, RAF (born 8 September 1896, died 16 May 1980) was a senior Royal Air Force leader during World War II.
During the Second World War he occupied the following posts:
- 1939 July Officer Commanding, RAF Manston.
- 1940 December 21 Group Captain, HQ No 9 (Fighter) Group.
- 1942 August 2 Air Officer Commanding, No 223 (Composite) Group.
- 1943 January 2 Air Officer Commanding, No. 224 Group RAF.
- 1944 July 19 Assistant Air Commander, Eastern Air Command ACSEA.
