Alexander Forbes, 1st Lord Forbes

Alexander Forbes , 1st Lord Forbes (c. 1380-1448), also feudal baron of Forbes, was a Scottish peer.
Forbes was the eldest son of John de Forbes of the Black Lip. He fought at the Battle of Harlaw in 1411. Around 1444 King James I raised him to the Peerage of Scotland as Lord Forbes. He died in 1448 and was succeeded in the lordship of parliament by his son James.
