Alexander Chaplin

Alexander Chaplin, birth name Alexander Gaberman, (born 20 March 1971) is an American actor. Chaplin's most prominent role was that of speechwriter James Hobert on the sitcom Spin City.

As part of the Spin City main cast, Chaplin also featured in creator Bill Lawrence's next sitcom, Scrubs, playing a drug addict who cheats first Elliot into giving him prescription medication and then Jordan into giving him money.

Chaplin attended Stagedoor Manor Performing arts training camp in upstate New York.
