Alexander Buchmann (born January 24, 1982 is a Norwegian handball player who currently plays for BM Altea in the Spanish Liga ASOBAL. He came to the club from french club US d'Ivry Handball before the 2006 season.

He also played for the Norwegian clubs Astor, Byåsen, Sjetne and Heimdal, and German club SG Flensburg-Handewitt.
