Alexander Beilinson

Alexander A. Beilinson is the David and Mary Winton Green University Professor at the University of Chicago and works on mathematics, in particular representation theory. He proved the Kazhdan-Lusztig conjectures with Joseph Bernstein, and stated the Beilinson conjectures. He has also worked with Drinfeld on the geometric Langlands conjectures.
