After a great 2004 season where he scored 12 league goals for Sogndal I.L. His effort in the 2004 season made him one of the most wanted players in Norway, with a high number of clubs wanting to sign him. At the end, he would choose between S.K. Brann and Rosenborg B.K.. He chose the 13-in-a-row Tippeliga-winners Rosenborg. His first season was a disappointment, and after the season he was sold to Viking F.K. in a deal worth €875.000.
