[edit] The Rise of Barry

Lowe began calling the Iain Lee radio show on talk radio station LBC 97.3 in May 2005, as Barry from Watford, talking about ways to get rid of slugs. It was during Lowe's first call that Barry's 'wife' Margaret would be introduced. By the end of his first call, Barry was becoming increasingly popular amongst LBC listeners, to the point where requests of his calls would be played again on the next show.

Since then, 'Barry' has been a popular caller on Lee's radio show.
