Alex Kramer (born 29 March 1978) is a British television game show presenter.

Alexandra Kramer-Paula-DeSilva was born in London. She graduated in 2000 with a B.A. (Hons) in journalism. She has worked at the BBC and Five, and as a Newsdesk Producer, Output Producer, Floor Manager, and Studio Camera Operator for ITN.

Kramer began her on-screen TV career as a weather presenter for Five and a locations presenter for holiday channel Teletext Holidays. She also presented a dating show on Sky Active and presented on the Express Shopping channel. She has reported for the BBC's Liquid News and The Edit on Five. She has also worked for Top Shop TV, hosting nationwide events for them, as well as appearing on their big screens in store.

Kramer worked for gaming channel Quiz Call, then owned by Channel 4, for thirteen months. She then moved to ITV 1 in September 2006 to co-present, with Ben Baldwin, the late-night game show Make Your Play which is currently simulcast on ITV1 and ITV2 after midnight on Thursday to Saturday nights, and was shown until March 2007 on ITV Play.

  • She has eleven GCSEs including several A grades, three A-levels, and a degree.
  • She was featured in the December 2006 edition of Maxim magazine as one of the Girls of 2007.
  • She has failed her driving test five times, according to her ITV website presenter profile.[1].
  • On the 27 January 2007 show, she complained of people assuming that she is a man, likely from only seeing her name, not her picture. "Alex" is often a male name, creating the confusion.
  • On the 19 January 2007 show she mentioned that a Christian Radio Station had written to her asking her for a chat on air; she explained she was actually Jewish, but would happily appear anyway.
  • She is affected by dyslexia.
  • She is half Portuguese, explaining the hybrid Kramer-Paula-DeSilva surname.
  • As of 1 January 2007 she has given up smoking.
