Alex Hitzinger

Alex Hitzinger is a German engineer, recently appointed Technical Director of the Scuderia Toro Rosso Formula One Team. Hitzinger will also fill the role of 'Head of Advanced Technologies' for Red Bull F1. Hitzinger, replaces Gabriele Tredozi in that position, after having previously worked for Cosworth, firstly as Head of the Ford Cosworth World Rally Championship programme and then as Head of F1 Development.
Hitzinger will be based in Faenza, Italy, home of the Toro Rosso team.
