    Alexander Cintrón [sin-TROWN] (born December 17, 1978 in Humacao, Puerto Rico) is a shortstop in Major League Baseball who plays for the Chicago White Sox (since 2006). He is a switch-hitter and throws right-handed.

    In a four-season career, Cintrón has compiled a .282 batting average with 17 home runs and 104 RBI in 317 games. He played for the Arizona Diamondbacks prior to the White Sox.
