Aleksandar Matanovic

Aleksandar Matanovic (born May 23, 1930 in Belgrade) is a Serbian chess grandmaster with an Elo-rating of 2490.
Awarded the GM title in 1955, he was Yugoslav national champion in 1962 (joint), 1969 and 1978. He has also been a radio announcer, author of chess books and Editor in Chief of Chess Informant.
