Sergeant Alec Peters is a fictional police officer in the long running ITV drama The Bill. He arrives at Sun Hill in the first episode of the first series all the way back in 1984 and has his final time at the station in February 1992 after a stabbing incident which makes him take a desk job to see out the rest of his days in the force. His callsign is 96.
