Re your message: Please do not blank an article or it's related Talk page. I realize that the page is up for deletion, but that does not mean that you should blank it. You can expand upon it (without copyrighted material), but please do not blank it. Additionally, blanking your own Talk page without archiving is generally seen as bad form. -- Gogo Dodo 08:26, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
- Re your message: Sorry that you're feeling unwelcome. I did read over the AfD and it is rather rough. Might I suggest leaving the article and the AfD alone for a bit and perhaps contributing to other parts of Wikipedia? I'm sure that there are other parts on Wikipedia that you could contribute to and we appreciate all the help we can get. I hope the AfD doesn't discourage you. You might find making other contributions enjoyable. One suggestion I have is to read the Wikipedia Help. It's a good place to start since you are new to Wikipedia. -- Gogo Dodo 08:48, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
I will delete the article per your request here [1]. --ZimZalaBim (talk) 13:31, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia
Hello there! Sorry if you did not feel very welcome on Wikipedia during your first day. I realise it may be uncomfortable for a newcomer to find himself in the middle of a deletion debate, as that kind of discussion are often the most heated around here, and make heavy use of Wikipedia guidelines and policies you may not be entirely familiar with. So please do not let that discourage you, and take this opportunity to peruse the links in the welcome message included below. I'm sure your future contributions will be more easily appreciated by the Wikipedia community.
Nehwyn has smiled at you! Smiles promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Spread the WikiLove by smiling to someone else, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Smile to others by adding {{subst:smile}}, {{subst:smile2}} or {{subst:smile3}} to their talk page with a friendly message. Happy editing!
Welcome!
Hello, Alden pascual, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! --Nehwyn 22:24, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:AWisNewLogoW.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:AWisNewLogoW.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fritz Saalfeld (Talk) 17:07, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
