I changed this article from a redirect to a stub. The psychiatric diagnosis of alcohol abuse is distinct from the vague term "alcoholism," and is the primary usage of the phrase in medicine and science. Furthermore, the alcoholism article does not adequately discuss the topic. I have linked to alcoholism in the intro which should allow people to find it if that is what they're really looking for. --Elplatt 18:38, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
