Alcatraz Skateshop

Alcatraz Skateshop[1] is a Canadian skate shop, located in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, with another location in Bowmanville, Ontario. The chain is owned by Jason King.

The store began in Oshawa in the early 90s through the diligence of three owners. Jason King eventually bought out the other two owners, and built the shop to where it is today.
The chain has grown considerably, and currently maintains a skateboarding team, managed by Jeff Mcdonald (also manager of the Bowmanville, Ontario, location), and has also produced two skateboarding films to date: AT Large and Chairmen of the Board[2].

The current skate team consists of: Jay Revelle, Rob Piontek, Clement Lush, Jordan Bandula, Glencoe Hogle, Shawn Arpin, Chase Furman, and Brandon Bandula.
