Albert John "Alby" Schultz (born 29 May 1939), Australian politician, has been a Liberal member of the Australian House of Representatives since October 1998, representing the Division of Hume, New South Wales. He was born in Melbourne, Victoria, and was a meat processing worker before entering politics. He was a Field Officer, for the Liberal Party 1986-88 and a member of the Cootamundra Shire Council 1983-91.

Schultz was the member for Burrinjuck in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1988 to 1998.

Schultz turned 65 in May 2004, and in 2003 he was severely injured in a domestic accident, losing the sight in one eye. Despite this he was easily re-elected at the 2004 federal election.

On October 29, 2005, it was reported by Nadia Jamal of the Sydney Morning Herald that callers to the electorate office would be greeted by the following message:

"Hi, I'm the member of the Liberal National Party Coalition. My name is Mr Alby Schultz, and we are going to f--- you up the arse with our industrial relations changes. You should accept this and enjoy it because let's be honest, being f---ed up the arse isn't necessarily such a bad thing. Anyway, please feel free to leave a message after the beep. Goodbye."

This was a clear case of sabotage.[1]

Schultz is an advocate for refom of the Child Support Agency Australia to increase the rights of fathers.[2]
