Albuquerque High School is a high school (grades 9–12) in Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico. It is a member of the Albuquerque Public School district. In 2003 it had some 1,840 students and 111 teachers.
The school's origin can be traced back to the Albuquerque Academy (not to be confused with the present Albuquerque Academy founded in 1955), established in 1879 with 27 students by the Colorado College of Colorado Springs. It was taken over by the city in 1891, and was renamed "Albuquerque High School". The school moved to the corner of Broadway and Central in 1914, and it moved to its present location in 1979. Presently, the original Albuquerque High School building is functioning as lofts.
