Albion High School is a secondary school located in Albion, Michigan which serves students in grades 9—12. As of 2006, the school principal is Ms. Debra Swartz. Albion is known for its excellent Basketball and Track & Field programs.

  • Webster Houston Pearce, the principal of Albion from 1902 – 1904, later became the mayor of Mount Pleasant, Michigan and then the president of Northern State Teachers' College. Central Michigan University's Pearce Hall in the Department of Mathematics and the Computer Science Department is named him.[1]
  • Durant Crum, Sr., Head Basketball coach in the early 2000's. Lead team to Final Four appearance in 2005.
  • Lavall Jordan, star basketball player. Later went on to play at Butler University. Helped lead Bulter to NCAA tournament appearance, losing to Florida by a buzzer beating shot. Currently coaching at Butler as the Assistant Coach.
  • Mike Soltis, soccer, swimming, track, and cross country athlete. 5 time All State from 2005-2006 in track. State runner up in 800m run. Currently running at Central Michigan University.
  • Jason Moorhead, star basketball player that was named honorable mention All-American. Led Albion to Final Four appearance in 1997. Lost to Detroit Country Day.
  • Eugene LeBron, Track athlete. Multiple All-State perfomer. School record holder in the 5k and 1600m run. Eugene ran at Central Michigan University in which he scored in the [Mid-American Conference]] meet in the 1500.
  • Tracy Egnatuk, star swimmer and track athlete. Tracy is a multiple state champion in swimming and track, holding the state record and school record in the 800m run. She also has many school records in swimming. She attended the University of Michigan.

  • Albion High School supports many sports teams. Among them are Mens basketball, baseball, soccer, swimming, wrestling, track & field, cross country, football, and tennis. Also Womens basketball, soccer, swimming, softball, vollyball, track & field, cross country, and tennis.
  • Albion High School is currently a member of the SMAA Conference. AHS is formerly a member of the SMAC Conferencein wich their Men's Track team was never beaten and won the Conference title every year. Also AHS was a member of the Twin Valley conference.
  • Albion High School has enjoyed much success at conference, regional, district, and state levels being home to many champions in all of these categories.
