Albino SyCip

Albino SyCip is a notable Chinese Filipino of pure Fujianese origin. He is known as the "Dean of Philippine Banking". A lawyer by profession, he earned his law degree from the University of Michigan School of Law in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He co-founded Chinabank and set up branches in Xiamen and Shanghai, China.
His famous sons are:
- Washington SyCip --- Founder of SyCip Gorres Velayo and Company -- one of the largest accounting firms in Asia.
- Alexander SyCip --- Founder of SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan -- largest and leading law firm in the Philippines.
