Alberton (2006 Population 958) is a community in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. The community grew by 2 residents in 2001 to 2006, and currently ranks at 2,108th in all of Canada. It is located near the U.S. border. It sits partway between Lake Superior and the Manitoba border. Other surrounding communities include Fort Frances and Isherwood.


It is located in the Rainy River District.
