Alberto Lopo García (Lopo) (born 5 May 1980 in Spain), is a professional footballer who currently plays as a Central Defender for Deportivo de La Coruña.
Highly rated Lopo was signed by Deportivo in 2006 from Espanyol the club he had been at since the age of ten.In April 1999 he made his debut for Espanyol in the Primera Division against Real Zaragoza , during his time with Espanyol he won two Copa del Rey trophies in 2000 and 2006.
