Alberto Junior Rodríguez Valdelomar or otherwise known as Alberto Rodriguez Born in Lima Peru, he is an international Football player for Peru and Sporting de Braga in the Superliga.

His former club is Sporting Cristal.

Rodriguez has represented Peru on numerous occasions including the qualifiers for the 2006 World Cup and is a natural starter.

Prior to joining Braga he had offers from Bayern Munich and Deportivo La Coruña but opted to play in the Superliga due to the fact that his idol Teófilo Cubillas played in the Superliga.

On December 28, 2006 he signed a four year deal with the northern club.

On February 18, 2007 he played his first Superliga match for Braga against U.D. Leiria[1]
