Alberta provincial highway 39 is a short east-west highway located in central Alberta extending from the town of Drayton Valley eastward to the city of Leduc.

The highway begins 13 km east of Drayton Valley where it leaves Highway 22 and goes east.

- 27 km - Highway 20 branches off to the south to the hamlet of Alsike

- 45 km - Passes the hamlet of Sunnybrook
- 56 km - Highway 778 branches off to the south to the village of Thorsby and proceeds north
