Albert Mines, New Brunswick

Albert Mines is a community that is one of the civil divisions of Hillsborough Parish. It is due south of the Village of Hillsborough and bordered by the communities of Demoiselle Creek and Edgett's Landing. The community is home to the Albert Mines Baptist Church. The community was important as one of the only source of Albertite in the world until the supply was diminished and the mines closed. The community also has a small gypsum mine, but there has been is minimal activity at the site in recent years.
