Albert Finch was a British boxer from Croydon in South London active from 1945 to 1958. Defeating Randolph Turpin in April, 1948 he was defeated by Turpin's brother Dick Dick in June, 1948. Trying again, he defeated Dick in April, 1950 becoming British and Empire middleweight champion. After his retirement he worked at a meat market in Croydon and was active in assisting youthful boxers. He died at the age of 76 years.
