Albergaria-a-Velha (pron. IPA: [aɫbɨɾgɐ'ɾiɐ ɐ 'vɛʎɐ]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 155.4 km² and a total population of 25,230 inhabitants, and 19,687 electors (2006).

The municipality is composed of 8 parishes, and is located in the District of Aveiro.

The present Mayor is João Agostinho Pinto Pereira, elected by the Social Democratic Party.

The municipal holiday is the Monday after the third Sunday of August.
