Albazin

Albazin (Russia: Албазин; Manchu: Yaksa; Chinese: 雅克薩) was a fortified Russian town in the Amur river region, which was founded by Yerofey Khabarov in 1651. In 1685, the Albazin fortress became the site of a battle between the Russian and Qing Empires and in the subsequent Treaty of Nerchinsk, Russia undertook to raze the fortress of Albazin.
