Alasdair Caimbeul

Alasdair Caimbeul (born Alexander John Campbell, 1944) is a Scottish writer. He has written novels in Gaelic and English. His work includes the critically acclaimed "The Nessman" and "Visiting the Bard".

He lives in South Dell on the Isle of Lewis, his original hometown. His brother, Tormod, is also a writer. He has another brother, Donald, and a sister, Christina. He has seven children.
